SKA!

well, on boring summer days, usually my brother and i play around. i mean, we bond. yeah, we actually do that. hahaha. it would seem impossible for the two of us, but we both can't help it when he's so bored at watching movies and nba while i'm also tired of reading mangas.

so when it comes to times like these, we bond. well, it's just singing loudly together. kind of a duet. we thought no one really cared until our neighbors were actually complaining about our voices. you see, we're not that talented. we do really like music though.

we were ecstatic when we had an iPod, we downloaded songs we both loved and also songs the other one hates. pero, you know, mabilis kaming magsawa.

my brother then came across with the AQUABATS, randomly searching for unpopular band (well, here in our country, they're not). and i think that they play SKA MUSIC. i don't know anything about ska music, since it's like "unheard of". but when i heard their songs, WOW!! they're amazing! you can clearly hear the skillfuly playing of the drums! the bass was exceptionally outstanding! there were also some trumpets. . . that'd be weird but they sound nice with it! the lyrics were also quite funny but also filled with so much wisdom.

my favorite from them is the song "lovers of loving love". here're some of the lyrics.

my brother then searched for more after a few weeks. then, he found STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO. well, this is one great SKA band! their lyrics are soooo. . . . OOOH!
there are two that interested me, one is "A BETTER PLACE, A BETTER TIME" and "POINT/COUNTERPOINT".

the song "a better place. . . " talks about this guy who stops this girl from committing suicide. the girl thought that it was better for her to die since nobody would really ever care. she didn't feel like she was appreciated. no one would come to her when she needs help. no guy was in love with her so with the usual form, she put up a note on the mirror and decides to end her life. but then this guy gives her hope saying "it's not your time. i guarantee that you'll wake in a better place and in a better time."

these are the ending lyrics:

the song "point/counterpoint" is fast. we couldn't really keep up with it. pero the lyrics are also awesome though i only understand it a bit.

then, the last one probably the best, would be CATCH 22. we've only known one song from them and it's "1234, 1234". it's a 'cheer-up' song. so, it's nice.

probably, 1234 would be the first on my list for SKA SONGS followed by A BETTER PLACE, A BETTER TIME. or tie na lang siguro. pareho kasing maganda.

nakaka-bwusit nga pala ang pagka-panalo ni DAVID COOK. alam kong magaling siya at mas nakatutuwa siya kesa kay ARCHULETA but ang prediction ko talaga since top 12, si DAVID A. ang mananalo. mula nung top 10, na-predict ko na ang finalists, at tama ako, sila ngang dalawa at ang hula ko'y si archu ang mananalo. ayun, nagkamali ako dahil sa 12,000,000 na taong nagkamali ng pindot ng numbers. ayun, BOOM!

sorry talaga dahil sa post na ito, nababangag na talaga ako. parang super low-life na tuloy ako. haay.

i've read it, naruto chapter 398! ahh, that sure was long! but it's worth it! it is such an amazing story! really!!

he's this demon who, in order to survive, eats mysteries. weird, huh?
he's soooo amazing!!

we met in this anime called MAJIN TANTEI NOUGAMI NEURO. it's a mystery-genre anime. it's really good, you know.

anyway, he and KATSURAGI YAKO are the main characters of the show. they're ADORE-ABLE!

hahaha. you must watch it.

i also watched a few episodes of TO LOVE-RU. this one's perverted, hentai, ecchi. whatever.
although the drawing's good, it has a typical plot. you know, a girl suddenly appears in front of a boy, and out of nowhere the boy has to marry the girl and they start living together. just like that.

i can't believe na meron ng anime ang VAMPIRE KNIGHT! ang galing! ang ganda! watch it!

hahaha. i am also currently addicted to PROPOSAL DAISAKUSEN'S insert song, CHIISANA KOI NO UTA by MONGOL800 or MONPACHI. it's so cute! also to the opening song of NARUTO, BLUE BIRD.
